Welcome to Daniel's Run, a 5K and 18K in celebration of community at Wag Valley Farm (formerly REEB Ranch) as your background. The event will take place on April 29th and benefit OpenDoors of Asheville and PIVOTPoint WNC.

Daniels Run is a celebration of the life of Daniel Summerlin. Daniel left us almost three years ago. Many of you lost an amazing friend, a giving brother, a devoted son or a sincere and caring acquaintance. The girls and I lost the most loving husband and father, who was compassionate to his core. To us he was the greatest. Daniel lived life to its fullest. His true sanctuary was the outdoors surrounding his hometown of Asheville where he thrived on the trails, rivers and peaks of Western North Carolina. To celebrate his life and all that was important to him, we decided to bring the community together to do what he loved most. We are hopeful that this event will be an amazing celebration of life and community and raise important dollars for two wonderful organizations, OpenDoors Asheville and PIVOTPoint WNC.  We are humbled by this community and the love that we have felt from everyone over the past few years as we've navigated our new day to day. I know Daniel would be so excited for us all to get out there, hit the trails, and share a wonderful day together. Let's do this! - Lizzy, Abby & Davies Summerlin
